About Startup
Classical Guitar
StartUp Classical guitar started with Thibault Momper and Marga Abejo, a guitarist couple living and teaching in Luxembourg. Luxembourg is a small country but home to such a diverse community of people from all over the world. This richness in diversity gave them an opportunity to work with many different students of different ages and cultural backgrounds.
They had the idea one day after after teaching. They were thinking about ways to improve the process of teaching beginners as well as finding new repertoire that is catchy for kids in the modern world. Thibault created many simple melodies for beginners and the melodies flowed on. Marga then had this idea to compile the music and arrange the pieces in a way that there would be a pedagogic flow.
StartUp Classical Guitar is a culmination of our combined experience and love for the classical guitar. As classical guitar teachers in the post pandemic world, children and even some adults are just wired differently these days. We wanted to create a book with fresh new repertoire and help you motivate your students.

Our Book
This book is a culmination of our combined experience and love for the classical guitar. As classical guitar teachers in the post pandemic world, children and even some adults are just wired differently these days. We wanted to create a book with fresh new repertoire and well-known melodies specially curated for beginners and teachers.
Say goodbye to searching and printing repertoire from different sources. This book will be your complete tool kit. We will also provide additional teaching resources online such as audio clips, tips and tricks, and helpful ways to help you motivate your students.

Mission
Our mission is to make classical guitar education more accessible by providing a simple method and new repertoire that will motivate students to become skilled and expressive musicians. We aim to foster a deep love and appreciation for the classical guitar, while nurturing creativity and technical proficiency.
Vision
Our vision is to create a new standard in classical guitar education, where students have access to a fresh and engaging repertoire. We strive to cultivate support for teachers as well as a supportive and inspiring learning environment, where students can develop their musicality, technique, and artistry to the fullest extent.
